Congratulations to the Maine Department of Education for hosting a inspiring two day institute for the state’s early education professionals. The institute’s informative and interactive sessions provided all who attended new skills and tools to take back to their communities where they do the work that impact the lives of Maine’s youngest citizens and their families. This summer institute, Transitioning, Aligning, Connecting-Creating a Culture for Success, focused participants thinking on critical topics like family engagement, family literacy and systems building. In addition, early educators had the opportunity to explore new techniques and strategies for enhancing classroom practices. Early Childhood Associates was thrilled to take part in such a ground breaking event. What a great way to kick-off the new school year!
